Red Coat is a zine containing a short story that was written in just a few hours, while the author was in the passenger seat of a car heading back to Melbourne from South Gippsland.
In this short story, Loretta is invited to a classy New Years dinner party. She purchases a red leather coat from an Op Shop for the night, but when she finds a letter in the coat’s pocket, Loretta cannot help but ruminate on its meaning.
